CUSTODIANS WALK TO DRIVE OFF A ROAD
What does it mean to be a custodian? It means having my eyes opened and my hackles raised enough to act. A small group - 10 of us by the time we left the Angel at Long Ashton walked the land last Saturday between Long Ashton and Highridge Common across which a new road is threatened.

EcoShow 2011
Ecoshow 2011 Stream Journeys. Bristol Ecoshow Steering Group are planning a series of seven seminal walking experiences, provisionally Sunday afternoons in May and June. These explore the streams and valleys of Bristol’s natural landscape, still visible through the present built environment. They will bring to life the underlying story of people and their impact on place. We would love you to tell your contacts about this project; they should be really popular walks which stimulate more involvement in the future. We'll be publishing and sending round details later.
SHE TALKED THE WALK Elizabeth Ellis on the Ecoshow walk in October
Through Ecoshow, I have been privileged to integrate my interests in community, natural environment, art and local history, to share how our urban and economic growth and has responded our landscape and plundered it’s resources. More importantly, Ecoshow has introduced me to many people with a vast range of skills and experience and real commitment to positive change in the city.
