The Ecoshow performance in June was the culmination of a year of hard work. About 60 people in the audience saw about 50 people on stage. Most of the audience told us the show was inspiring with thumbs up for the Green Man narrator, the music and Kilter Theatre in particular. Personally I thought it hung together better than the previous year. The steering group evaluation was more critical: whilst eveyone thought the music was great work needs to be done on making it more coherent, more rehearsed and maybe without the film which looked great in a small space but had less impact in the church. Nevertheless when we looked overall at our activites for the year we felt we made progress towards two of our objectives. These are building community across Bristol and increasing connection with nature. We thought we would work from September to consolidate what we've done well. This means building stronger relationshipos between the people and organisations who've taken part so far such as Sustainable Redland and residents in Hartcliffe, mainly through continuing the stream side walks which build a sense of custodianship of green spaces. So campaigning is likely to be high on the agenda. A full evaluation report is available from me or at the meeting on the 16th Sept. We're short of funds and short of people to be on the steering group, helping run what we do over the coming year. If this appeals, turn up on Friday September 16th 1pm to 3pm at the 3rd Floor Bush House Princes Street BS1 (above the Arnolfini) All the best David Mowat (coordinator)
